MasterCraft NXT Convertible Seat
During my first internship with MasterCraft Boat Company I was lucky enough to assist in the development of new product. The rear facing convertible flip seat is something MasterCraft introduced to the watersport boating industry years ago. We wanted to bring this feature to their entry level model, the MasterCraft NXT, to let the spectators easily watch the action behind them. In order to allow for this option, we had to minimize cost through materials and manufacturing without compromising functionality.
